I had cold running issues with my mk1 occy vrs, jerking/surging/hesitating from cold. I decided to remove my SAI,N112 and N249 systems hoping this would help. Ive also renewed CTS,MAF,coilpacks, cleaned air temp sensor, cleaned & realigned TB and still got problems :'( . The car seems to idle quite fast from cold as if the SAI is still there? :S I have fitted 3 resistors to SAI N112 and N249? The car runs fine and idles pretty good when warm? Do i need to remove the N112 relay or would this make any difference? Please help its getting expensive now :thumbdown:

It is still going to idle faster at startup, the choke is on.

Don't drive it until the revs have settled down to normal, doesn't take that long, and no driving under load until up to temp.
