  • Not all modified VRS's need a splitter, be different.

  • it only maters how you feel the car is like my mate got his remapped to 175bhp but my standard felt so much better because in his you couldnt feel as much when it boosted because of its smoth power c

The lights are actually starting to grow on me. What's the light output like? Alot of the reviews say they give off hardly any light

You mean the head lights? I've got some philips extreme vision bulbs which make them pretty good. The beam pattern is very different though which takes a bit of getting used too. Maybe just needs some further adjustment tho?

Been a while since I've updated this, not a lot has changed, asI've spent more time modifying other peoples cars.

I changed the dash lights in Luke's and Rossey's both to blue. Which they are both really pleased with.

If any one else is interested feel free to PM me.

I am currently working on a small cosmetic mod i've not seen any other Fabia with yet :-) Will post some pics once i'm done, so hopefully you like it

Really like the interior on this! Headlights look smart too

Thanks :-)

Very sweet interior mate, I'm tempted by the lighting mods!

Something a bit like the mk4 golf

bora_vents-12.bmp

Could that be done? The red on blue would look really nice in a fab

Here's a sneak peak of my little DIY project.

Needs a little bit of repainting to be perfect but I'm quite impressed. Working on the main grille now

how much did it cost to get your grill wrapped?

About £20. I bought the 3m vinyl wrap from ebay and did it myself :-)

Want to see more of that honeycomb grille stuff!

honeycomb looks interesting

Already done my top grille in this last year.

SAM_0549.jpg

How did you do the bottom? I have a spare bottom grille and enough honeycomb

left to do that to match the top one. Just couldn't figure out how to lose the slats

and still have something to fix the mesh to. :wonder:

The blue interior dials are really nice but all the other "add ons" are a bit tacky IMO

Oh darn you beat me to it!! Is yours the milotec one? I'm converting the standard grille at the moment :-)

It's rather time consuming, but what I did was cut out the vertical slats, trim the honeycomb to size and glued it in place

Been a while since I've posted anything so justa small update.

Finished the mesh provisionally. Just a bit of tidying up to do :-)

Mechanically I'm done with the car, Just got a few cosmetic touches to do, like fix the car park dents and scuffs etc.

Will probably need a lot of work though. old owners didn't look after it well. There's scratches on almost every panel even the roof!

Might get new pasty badges for the wheels

Looks good on those wheels.

Really suit the car IMO.

Enjoy :) any chance of a video of the piper sound?

I'll see if I can get a couple. :-) inside, outside and a flypast

Very nice.

Is it mapped to suit the mods yet?

What did it make & any chance of posting up the dyno plot?

Joe

  • Author

Yep it's been mapped to suit. Not sure what it's putting out, but somewhere close to 210bhp methinks.

Not had it dyno'd though, doesn't seem to be one local enough lol

I'd like to do it soon though, although figures don't really mean too much. The important thing is that it drives really well :-)

Absolutely agree about the dyno, IMO it all about when the power kicks in, I've seen some Fabia plots with just 60hp @ 2000 rpm, others with double that.

I'm tempted to go hybrid at some poin just can't decide which turbo is best for plenty of low down shove.
