Hello,

I have the temp light coming on my VRS only when started, then going off after first start up. I see lots of Fabia VRS owners (and other models) have had this http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/185073-red-temp-light-flashing/

....cleaning the reseviour sensors (prongs) have fixed this but where on earth are they? I have taken off the cap of the reseviour but where do i find them to clean them? I reckon im just being really dumb..........

Later expansion bottles are double skin and you can't get to the sensor prongs. New tank is £15

As above, Octy ones you can clean, not fabia vrs` tho

So does a new expansion tank comes with new prongs inside????

New tank comes with everything you need. Replaced mine the other week. Dead simple to replace. Needed about 750ml of coolant to top it up.

After 3 years I no longer have the coolant light beep/flash. It's like having a new car in the morning lol.
