Hi,

Bought my vrs in January and the aircon used to make a hissing noise when i turned it on this slowly stopped as the months went past, thing is that it has never blown out cold air and now its hot outside i want it to work. I have had the fault codes read by the local garage and they have come up with;

00819 - High pressure sensor (G65)

07-00 - Signal too low

00898 - Control circuit A/C compressor

30-10 - Open to short to plus - Intermittent

Following their advice changed the high pressure sensor and this didnt work.

Done some routing around on here and found that the small fan should start when the aircon is turned on? The small fan never comes on on mine unless it is with the larger fan to cool the engine. Could this be a faulty fan control module?

Had a regas done aswell today to no avail other than the hissing noise returning and slightly colder air and only slight when driving at speed but warm when at a stand still.

Anyone had any similar problems and a possible cure for this?

hissing noise = A/C leak. Get a leak test done where they ad dye to the gas to find where its coming from!

I had thought it may be a leak but would it not still be cold until all the gas has gone?

yes but a loud hiss points to a rather large leak!
