hi all

just a quick question but been looking at exhausts for my octavia vrs and the one that seems to grow on me the most is the miltek but for the moment i would just like the cat back exhaust and then later on get the sports cat and bigger downpipe but milteks site is saying that i need to get the the sports cat downpipe and turbo back exhaust which is 500pounds or near on which i dont have the money but demon tweeks saids that u just need a catback exhaust which one is correct if any one can shine some light on this please

Your better off getting a full system to see any benefits at all. The standard downpipe from the turbo is VERY restrictive. Save up your pennies and bite the bullet.

Depends which system you go for. If you opt for the 2.5" with the oval tail you can go cat bk....that's what I have.

I think the 2.75" system with twin round tailpipe requires you to go turbo back?.......it did when I brought mine and was near on £900 that's why I opted cat back £320

I've since added an eBay downpipe and had a sports cat made to fit aswell as a de cat so I can swap and change

Speak to Ben at shark performance as he's now an official milltek dealer and may be able to give you a decent price

It will fit. You'll get a reducer with it to fit your system if your gonna do it later on. Just tell them it's to fit the 2.5" system when you eventually order

awesome thanks for your help on that just as a general question as i know its been asked alot but what r the miltek exhausts like as i have looked at others like jetex and piper and the jetex was the cheapest but again had trouble finding the sports cat and downpipe for that but i liked the oval on that and piper do a oval exhaust which i found on ebay but i am not sure if the picture they r showing is the same as what they r descripeing

Had my milltek 3 yrs and it's been fine, good quality, good fit and a nice sound aswell

awesome i do like piper alot actually aswell so would be good to hear a report on it and also if possible a hd vid or just a good quality vid of what it sounds like as i have only ever heard one and couldnt really get a clear detail of it just had a nice deep tone to it
