vrs se

Featured Replies

Hi,

First post, please be gentle.

I would appreciate if anybody on here has any information about this vrs se GJ07LZR

as it is up for auction tomorrow, I am pretty sure I have seen a picture of it on here before.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Bas

Think it was gareth1.8t's no expense spared. Great car. All work carried out by JRM (jas) He is a great guy. That's if I'm correct about whose it was anyway.

Edit: the car was Gareth's and is remapped.

Blimey, that was quick - it has only just be part ex'd with a Kent based VW dealership.

vRS SE #419 - Last mileage was 52k (still on original turbo), car has full service history and (I know everyone says this but it really did!) no expense was spared during my ownership. Never tracked or dragged. Apart from a few stone chips on the front, the paintwork is immaculate and car was regularly clayed, polished & waxed.

Should you have any specific questions, please feel free to pm me.

cheers.

Incidentally, where is the auction?

Nice sig

Really need Luke to make me up a Golf one - hopefully can get some pics on Saturday B)

Well looked after car that.

Very well kept. Buy it!

I'm surprised the dealers have put it into auction if is aa good as mentioned - they'd prob make good money on the forecourt.

I'm pretty sure they'd rather put their time and effort into selling VWs

as it looks better on their figures. They just auction them off to save

hassle and more importantly forecourt space.

I have ridden in and indeed worked on that particular car and it's in

great nick. Gareth the last owner is a friend of mine and he spent a packet

on that vRS. It's been returned to standard now but as mentioned before

no expense spared. He loves his motors!! But he's no boy racer.

He's not the sort of chap who thrashes his cars about at all.

if it was the vw dealer in gillingham its about right, went to look at a small vw for wife there and asked about trading my octavia the comment was " can only give you auction price as we would never allow a skoda on our forecourt"

stuck up snobs !!!

cheers for the kind comment guys :'(

I loved that car and it was a very hard decision to move on to pastures new....

So how many peanuts did this go for?

Hate to be the barer of bad news but this is a cut and shut jobbie... Bit of a cat-B write-off...

Only kidding, Gareth's car is a minter!

stuck up snobs !!!

That is how I got my first Fabia 1.9tdi

VW embarassment, they had it a year, and the price dropped each quarter, I dare not let it get any lower or I might have lost it

The truth is they were terrified VW customers took it for a spin and found it was a VW At thousands less :-)

Traded it one year later for 500 more than I paid and got a yellow Vrs, then after a year got the Vrs SE which I have now, and intend keeping until

I am deed (not too long to go :-(
