Air filter advice

Thats a good deal on the Carbonio but it is only one pipe to the MAF and doesnt have the small connector for the SAI does it?

You can get a good K&N filter from Opie at a good price.

Good thing with the Carbonio tho is its 3" and not 2.5 like the Ebay spaeial lol so is spot on for a BT when you do it.

I had a similar thing a bit back, I offered RSD £65iirc for the Milotec bumper grills that were at the time £95 but were on an auction on ebay and I was told to just bid. I got them for £41 Barjen

lol

Big turbo

Lol.

Yup BT is big turbo.

For the SAI you need to put a small filter on it. Then you need to support it.

The ebay kit has a nice adapter that is made so the stock clip is used to clip in.

Bil

thanks guys, not an urgent job for me, see what it looks like when the CAI turns up.

Still taking things slow with the car - not into too much change from stock.

not for me, Ive had OEM back on a few times and it doesnt drive right. THere is a big flat spot with it on even when I had the pannel filter in.

Since getting the zorst done again today I am really surprised at the pull its got, that just on the IP remap ECU, not my custom one which Ill try next week.

lol

I'm leaning that way!

Mine was more responsive after a Neuspeed kit. I'm sure of that. Better noise is a bonus.

Splits itself off from the hot air and uses the cold air feed from the wing.

I don't believe for a minute that tons of these massive performance firms would make cold air induction kits on the pretense that they were in fact ****. :wonder:

Some kits do work agreed!

But at the sacrifice of filtering the air and more noise!

And its not a nice noise like what youd get on say a Group A Car with a carbon airbox!

+1

Been there done all kinds of kits and std airbox variants

My ABD works better with my map and pulls stronger, and the noise is just a bonus.

yup whats not t love? the whistle and sucking sound of the turbo(could do with being a bigger turbo) the K04 is sposed to have a deeper sound to it and the DV. Cant beat it.

its a ver stealthy sound and not chavy or too loud.

So long as you get the right filter on the end its not really important what pipe you use.

Off topic
