Air Quality Sensor

Featured Replies

Hi there,

just a newbie question: when turning de air recirculation on (the right green led on the button is on) the air is recirculated all the time, or just when the sensor `feels` poor quality air?

How can i detect if the air is recirculated or there is fresh air coming from outside?

Thx.

When I set the air recirculation on auto, I feel the outside air coming in and it only shuts out the outside air from coming in when it detects fumes from the traffic

By which time it is rather smelly in the cabin. I have since stopped using this function in city traffic. Not sure if I’m missing something and not maximizing this function.

It seems to be a complete waste of time to me, it NEVER stops the smell of stinking trucks, buses, taxis, vans or just about anything that's belching out the back of the vehicle in front.

I don't know what particular perfume it supposed to detect?, it sure ain't diesel fumes.

Doesn't stop odour from cess pit tankers spreading contents on fields either. :whew:

haha guess this function is a total waste of time
