Tell me why you love your skoda

all of the above.

We love our Scout and like the fact that there aren't that many around - especialy with the polished alloys.

I wouldn't give it 10 of 10 for comfort though; more like a 7.5 - with an empty boot the suspension can be rock-hard - and having had to wait for 8 months to take delivery wasn't great either but we certainly got value for money.

Our other cars are a 350z with Tein suspension & my Wife has an Abarth, the suspension on the Scout feels like a Limo to us :giggle:

I spent almost a year looking at cars to replace my 2003plate Seat Leon TDi. I'd spend hours surfing the net looking at specs, brochures, tests and reviews (both press and real-world driver reviews).

It seemed that no matter what I started out looking at, I still ended up back at Skoda again. I guess the brand just gave so much more bang for buck. :D

In the end, I made an impulse buy of a 1.8TSi Scout that was for sale locally at a not-to-be-missed low price (owner was moving to another country and just wanted it gone to pay off the outstanding lease amount), it's a 10 plate and had only 6K miles on it. Now, a year on and 27K miles on the clock, I still love it. Very roomy, plenty of power, rides great, good equipment level (even as standard) and, for a 1.8 Turbo engine, not too bad on the mpg figures if driven "normally", rather than like you just stole it! ;)

I just got back from a trip to Copenhagen and noticed Skoda seem to have a good market share there. Had my first ride in a Superb estate too (taxi from airport) and have to say it was very nice indeed! I wonder if they'll do a Superb Scout? :giggle:

Fantastic acceleration, xenons are great, dsg superb now that I've got used to its jitters when joining and leaving mini-roundabouts, huge boot (maybe next one will be an estate). Pity about the intrusive rattle noises from the boot area which I'm still trying to track down.
