hi, not quite a new member, but not too sure how to start the blog. bought my first skoda 4 weeks ago, firstweek was great, cheaper insurance/tax/fuel than my last car (a 1.3 subaru justy 4wd, looked like a suzuki swift). second week noticed temp going up so had a look around to see what problem was, fan wasnt kicking in, so wired it on a switch so as not to damage engine till i could figure it out. in the process i took a clip from the radiator fan thermoswitch that lost its tension and fell out on m60 along with all the coolant, got a rplacement, and as i was fitting it, the doors locked, with keys inside, just as my phone died!!!!! went to find a charger to see if there was a spare key for it, got back and a customer who took me for the part was prying door with a screwdriver!!! left at least 5 dents one both sides!!!! had to break window eventually, gutted!!! got it all sorted within 4 days (including cooling problem- themostat) only to have a golf smash into the back of me last week!!! write off!!!! am devoed about it, but there is a little hope, mite be able to buy it back and repair it for less than £750, anyone know any good places in manchester?
