Hi everyone.really enjoying my octy 2.0 tdi and ive just finished soundproofing the boot and wheel arches etc,so now i need some new front tyres and i want the quietest ones available at 195-65 r15s,anybody? please?

Any guides on soundproofing? I wouldnt mind knowing how you did it.

I use all season vedastaines

I find the OEM Michelin Primacy HP tyres reasonably quiet

I add a vote for Michelin Primacy HP tyres. I had them on my previous Octy - wish my new one had them!

Out of interest, after much shopping round, my local Skoda dealer was the cheapest place to get them - they price matched the cheapest ones I found elsewhere (and, in fact, when they fitted them they charged me a couple of pounds cheaper still).

well,try NOISEKILLER for the under bonnet and boot and on top of the boot noisekiller try 8mm carpet underfelt,very cheap and easy to cut
