Our European Trip

Featured Replies

Just back from our road trip to France & Czech. The car was brilliant throughout, a real pleasure to cover 2,500 miles in - but you knew that already. Quiet, comfortable, fun, fast, capacious, reliable & economical. All we need to do now is to clean several hundred insects off the bonnet :giggle:

Here are some pics of the car on the journey:

We came across a small car museum when we were in Moravia - here are a couple of old Skodas -

Looks like you had a really good time. Lovely pictures. I had an Octavia just like that in the seventies.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like yet more confirmation that the Yeti is a superb travel companion!

Very jealous! What a lovely trip!

Ooh look, a Yeti driver and passenger with big grins.

Now there's a surprise :)

Looks like you had a good trip. Nice pics too

While you are cleaning off the insect corpses from the front, it migh not be a bad idea to check how many are caught in the fins on the A/C condenser at the bottom. A gentle water soak and a sift brush should remove most without damaging the fins.

..........oh, and a very pleasant looking co-pilot too.

You beat me to it!

There's no doubt about it white really suits the Yeti.. :)

Co-pilot is blushing as we speak.

Thanks for the tip re: air con - I normally try & avoid using it but on this trip it was a life saver.
