Hi guys,

I heard that DPF failure happened mainly to automatic transmision cars... and I'm trying an unorthodox method to find out if it's true. Please help me with this if you belive worth the effort.

If by failure you mean the DPF light has come on, then it frequently comes on in my manual Greenline 1.9, usually when I've been driving around London Suburbs - nothing to worry about, a quick blast down the motorway clears it!
