:( First Post ...... Sad topic really.

Noticed the paint lacquer on my VRS SE (owned from new) roof spoiler starting to blister about 6 weeks ago, it's peeling off in sheets now.

Contacted Skoda customer services who advised I go to dealer for pics to be taken.......response from customer services......3 year paint warranty on a Skoda, so the problem and cost is mine.

Never had a paint problem on a car before let alone on a 4 year old car.

Happened to come accross another SE at motorway services near Carlisle and it was starting with the same disease........wish I had taken SE number.

Skoda customer services state this is not a known problem.........are there any SE owners with a similar experience ????

Paintwork should last more than 4 years....the cars only done 31000 miles

I thought the paint warrenty was a lot longer on Skoda's than 3 years!

Had to have my rear spoiler repainted recently on my 56 plate race blue octy due to peeling laquer , perhaps its an issue on the plastics

Just noticed this on the spoiler of my SE too.

I think that's the perforation (rust) warranty.
