Yes, but I beleive the buttons are red/blue and that it will start up with the manufacter (i.e Volkswagen) but i also beleive these things can be coded out...

You can get the above unit for around 850, but unfortunatly doesnt include sat/nav

the vw unit wont work without addtional kit.

And iirc it isnt exactly double din size, and the 6 CD changer connections are different on the back, the new style single din 6cd changers are around

not to mention the speed pulse genrator + new loom to boot for new changer... etc...

I believe the satnav unit you are looking at is from the Toureag, not sure if the will fit, why not go for the standard unit that is fitted to the Fabia if you order it as an option from new.

Nope, it's a colour 5" screen. I can understand why you want the Toureag MFD as it's a better looking unit. If it fits you still have illumination colours to sort out and possibly digital to analogue cables to sort out as this unit is fitted to vehicles that output CAN-BUS data.

i was reading about the can bus :( id imagine if the furby did have can bus then it wouldnt need things like speed pulse generator and things as it would get it all from the ecu

I've fitted a Mk4 golf Sat Nav system in my Octavia and it works great. Illumination colour isn't a problem as I've changed all the illumination to match.

I do have one quick question though , if you fit the Skoda sat nav (OEM) would a new dashpod which you get when you order sat nav from the factory work, or can you just order this anyway and it'll work with your normal stereo etc.
