Just here to introduce myself as I've enjoyed reading your friendly and informative posts over the last few weeks as I prepare myself for Furby ownership.

I've owned a 1.1 litre Fiat Cinquecento Sporting for the last 7 years which is great around town but horribly gutless when trying to overtake, a problem I know the Furby doesn't have. Motorway driving is very tiring.

The Furby was one of the only replacements I considered.

After test driving a VRS I went on drivethedeal.com on Sunday night and placed my order for a black magic VRS with cruise control. I thought about specifying a multichanger too, but will probably fit an MP3 CD system instead (Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB 54 is the one I'm looking at as it has DAB and an SD card slot).

The guy from drivethedeal called me promptly the next morning and said there was a dealer with one in the system and waiting time would be three weeks.

Then the dealer, Simpsons Skoda, called me the next day to say my car was coming in any day! How's that for service?

I can't have her just yet as I'm waiting for the cash from my house sale to come through, so it should be within the next two weeks that I get her.

But I cannot wait! Looking forward to updating you all on the delivery of my new baby.....cheers, Kron_VRS

I've heard of people (including myself) selling cars to buy a hosue ut never the other way around!

Hehe, I was getting to the point where if I got menaced in my Fiat by another BMW/white van/faceless repmobile (delate as applicable) on the motorway I would've sold my house just to get the car!

Simpsons were very friendly although they're just supplying the car, I'll be using Browns in Wycombe for servicing I expect.
