I'll try and come. I'v only been up the strip one and was awful, so does that mean my car will have the lowest power? No, it means I'll be the worst driver up the strip. So this would prove nothing in terms of "my cars faster than yours". But, hopefully it'll be a change for some like minded car enthusiasts to have a laugh and bit of banter. I'll bring a video camera if I can make it.

Pull vac line from the little buzzer box, and suck it (haha) release, repeat, that'll help free up the vanes slightly.

Failing that, it's not a massive job to take turbo off and clean it out :-)

Isnt this what all this is about really lol I could go down the strip in my fabia and at the end of the day i wouldn't be that far behind you, half a second layer on the brakes and I'm behind ou again, there's too many variables which will factor on the strip, starting the main one. I think a rr would be best yes there are variables too ie temp but not as much of a factor.

Feel free to organise. Driving two hours for a RR session (5 mins?) Doesn't appeal as much so I'd rather not take on that job to organise it.

Just thought i would add i will be with 2 others if thats ok golf 2.0 tdi 140 remapped to 230 ( rolling road says lol )

and a fabia 100PD remapped with 130 turbo 150hp with 400ft torque lol

Are you thats not 400NM (295lb/ft) as 400lb/ft seems quite a lot from just a PD100 with PD130 turbo and remap to suit
