That's why I use first... and TC. ;)

I think on your SE, you've got proper TC, were as on our lowly specced ones, we have ASR......

ASR is rubbish :-(

Nope they are the same thing. The only option was ESP which none of the SE's were factory fitted with

Of course. :)

As said, bit of a mini get together if we get people to actually turn up.

That's the one! ESP!

Fair does, have you got it on your, bossfox?

It's a SE so no, not unless it was somehow retro-fitted

Don't think so. I have ASR.

Thought that included the TC?

Either way, I don't get a lot of wheelspin.

But I am running R888s and a Quaife LSD.

The ASR light flashes a bit, but doesn't seem to hurt the acceleration at all...

Mine bogs really bad if the asr cuts in :( very over sensitive.

Matt

Show off! Lol

Yes as mentioned se only come with ASR. No options could be added to them. Personally they should have put everything on them like xenons and ESP etc.

1. BossFox (Richard)

2. Friggerpants (Luke)

3. Jamie8954 (Jamie) - Ibiza + friends

4. xa0sx (Luke)

5. ROS53Y (Ross) - maybe in xa0sx's car...

That it so far then?

Anyone welcome if you fancy a mini-meet and to watch some cars whizz down the quarter mile.

Its looking as though my actual car may make this one. Think I'll be back on road tomorrow. Getting some bushes and dog mount thingy done in the week also.

Ross

Looking forward to this! Anyone else wanna come?

Got my SS FMIC back. It weighs a tonne now and is thicker. I'll be there (providing it fits)

I'm hoping to see another fantasitic off-the-line performance Ross, like you did at Inters.

Talk is easier. ;)

Nice to see several people prepared to compare cars though.

Me and Ross are still going, who else?

Me.. if the flippin car comes back from Jabbasport. :wonder:

I'll know better in a day or so. Going to be seriously peeved if I miss this too, on top of missing the Brisky track session on Saturday.

The only other thing that'll stop me is a weather forcast with rain most of the day. Otherwise you'll be lucky to get many runs in as it has to be bone dry before they'll let you run.

Meh it's right next to Unit 18 so might pop in and have a chat, plus Ross and I will no doubt get a cheeky Nando's and raid the DC shop at Xcape in Milton Keynes. Hopefully your car is done, if not don't you fancy coming up anyway to watch with us?

According to weather app:

Wellingbrough - rain.

I'm still on for this one. Just prey the rain stays off.

A few drops and they shut the raceway, followed by 15 to 20 minutes of scrubbing and then drying.

Only really worth it if it's going to be dry. Otherwise you won't get many runs.

High pressure moving in, so fingers crossed it stays dry for you guys during the weekend.

SHame mine isn't up to it at the moment. Booked in to my mate's garage to get the manifold looked at and hopefully the issue sorted. Not good when it smokes so badly and EGTs sky rocket - even though all power seems to be there.

Would you like me to write the launch control software into your ecu too for a bit of a head start ;)
