Hello my Skoda friends

I need to change par on shift knob ( on picture) on my Superb. Does anyone know changing procedure for it?

I pulled mine out once, whilst bored in traffic, just get your nails under it and lift it up. Be careful though, as it does hurt if you pull too hard, thought I had ripped my nail off.

just noticed this thread can I ask where did you get the replacement as I ordered a gear knob from e bay not realising that it had the wrong reverse configuration on it and i would love to get the correct one

Part number is 3U0798001 , i ordered part through an authorized skoda importer for Serbia ( you can order it throught your skoda importer) , price is about 5-6 euro here in Serbia.
