I'm Brian, regional host for the Edinburgh region of ScottishVAG.

I heard recently that some of the BriSkoda members you to come together with Svag members for the rural meet at the Melville Inn, Lasswade.

I wondered if thats something you guys would be interested in?

I recognise some of the usernames in here from ScottishVAG

We all used to come to the rural & urban meets, but i felt it was very "us & them" with the rest of the VAG lot, that combined with the numbers started to decrease, i stopped going to both, as did most members on here that used to attend.

We hold our own monthly meets now, open to anyone who wants to come along.

I still frequent scottishvag, but the politics are awful, and not a friendly place to be most of the time.

For that reason i've never been to an svag meet in about 2 years.

I will third that mate, not a nice place at all, some talented people but dont go on it any more.

Fair play, When's the next one?

Shift dependant I may pop by for a look see, It's on my doorstep after all!

Next rural meet is a week on tuesday 7:00pm

Also we are heading on a club run a week on sunday, up to Killin, stop for a bit of munch then head back down to the burgh.

And again, your more than welcome to come along

When is/was the meet @ Lasswade?

I belive the lasswade meet is a week on tuesday.

I'll be backshift on the 20th, just as well I checked before travelling 60 miles.

I've changed my shift on Tuesday so I'll pop along to see the VAG boys toys.

I would like to thank the guys that came, I'm sorry we couldn't pull a better turnout for you, so thanks to you guys for making this meet, it would have been the four of us if you hadn't came.

Hopefully we can get something better organised for next time, as it's good to see some new motors and meet some new people.
