Help needed with exhaust

Featured Replies

To follow on from my 2.5" mufflerectomy I was going to get a milltek large bore de-cat down pip which is 2.5" and have my local power flow dealer make me up a centre section (mine isnt two part system now)

Question is with it been standard turbo with the 2.5" be the ideal bore or is it too big?

2.5" is fine, pointless, but fine.

In fact 2.5" will be fine even if you tune the engine to it's maximum potential and then some.

why pointless?

why pointless?

Standard exhaust should easily cope with 200bhp+

Big bore pipes improve look and sound but don't add

performance really.

Well thats all I really need from it at the moment :) nice to know I wont have to change it in the future if I do upgrade the turbo etc.

Dont for get the map tweak if you already mapped and going for a decat.
