Hi, I ordered a Octy 2.0 4x4 DSG estate on 1st of July, was told expect to get it Jan/Feb 2012.

After a week I thought about changing it to a 1.4 DSG instead to get the auto quicker, then the dealer told me we had a build week 36 for the 4x4 so we let it stay as it was, a few weeks later it went to week 34.

Found out today it is at the docks in Germany awaiting shipment, Great.

It will replace a 4x4 1.9 we got in Jan 2010, super car in last years snow but I need the auto.

Things may be looking up for future orders.

I ordered my Octavia Estate 4x4 2.0 manual at the end of June and was given Jan / Feb 2012 like yourself. Then went in 4 weeks later to add on maxidot and was given build week 42 Nov. Told I should get it early December 'ish. Maybe, I will get mine earlier Hope so.
