  • 1 month later...

All ways a good do this, I went to the one earlier in the year and there was about 1000 cars turned up. :)

Yeh I'll be there.

The to the Harrogate meet in the afternoon!

Phil

I am wondering about going to this, it sounds a good day. I was also thinking to stay for lunch then drive to Harrogate.

Has anyone any idea when this thing starts?

Edited by Jim H

It's at and on the Industrial estate around specialist cars of Malton.

www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk

I'll try to get sat night off too, then I could make this as well as the harrogate meet :)

Anyone that's going to this might be a good idea to sort out a time and place to meet so we can say hi. It could be pretty busy and we might not know who is from Brisky and who isn't.

I think Dave, if he can get the sat eve off work, will be meeting at mine first then we will head off from there.

I saw 8:30am mentioned on the pistonheads forum but that might be a little earlier.

Perhaps we could then all go over to harrogate together and stop somewhere for a bite to eat.

Phil

Hi Phil

It is from 8:30 onwards

Chris

Cool.

Thank. Saves me checking back on the pistonheads thread.

Looks like it could be a good turn out.

May I propose to those going from the south of Malton we meet on the A64 somewhere.

Maybe in the lay-by for the Highwayman Cafe? Then turn up together.

Phil

Better to be early as all the big fast xj220s and red horses race down there, there was some right cars last time!

I should be up foe this too!

I'll hopefully be there with a mate. Not sure if the Skoda is allowed onto the Pistonheads list though. :giggle:

We're undecided if we should go in the Skoda or his ITR.

let me know when you want us round your house Phil, and we'll go on to meet any others from there :) we'll do this and the harrogate meet :) PM me your postcode please, I've lost where you live ;) and you have to introduce ash to the rabbit ;)

I love this meet for the different stuff that arrives, the 2CV owners club came last time! one had a bike engine in it though

Well sharkrider is heading over to mine this morning for 9:00 then having a quick brew and chat and heading up to this meet.

Anyone who is going and want to join at that time then we're heading off from Acomb and could meet on the way.

Phil

Thanks again for Phil for taking us to this, here are a few of my pics!

Yes 72/73. Not sure standard Mexicos had the big arches though. I had a friend who had an RS1600 of that vintage (new at the time I mean) and we had some impressive rides in that
