Took my Monte in today to have needle sweep and lane change from 3 blinks to 5. Dealer did lane change but said needle sweep could not be done.

VCDS wants a word with your dealer.

Pretty sure it is possible.

I plugged in my vcds today, no long coding helper...

Sometimes if you close the controller down and re-open it the long coding will appear.

Either way the staging is under 'adaptation'

I tried a couple of times going in and out of 07 cent elec but no luck...

I will try again when i have a little bit more time, I was going for CH/LH lights.

My vrs had staging as standard

I think all vRS have staging as standard... mine did aswell.

Its other models which need coding to activate

I have Cornering fogs activated on my Octy..But our Fabia vRs doesnt have fogs...DRL Unit instead

Don't think the cornering fogs function can be done on the vRS as said already due to the DRL module.

I think Gorebrush did a video on Locking/unlocking, the alarm beep and the large MPH on the maxi dot :wonder:

I've contacted suk and staging is available on all models with maxi dot but dealers have not got a clue

Estate had to go... had a few issues with it, and again had a rethink with finances etc.

Decided to go back to what I knew, and I was lucky it didn't cost me anything (else) lol

Cornering fogs what's the issue mine working fine

Did you have to spec those with the car? Not an option on the monte but had been suggested that it could be set up

ive the cornering headlights and fogs, specced when i ordered you cant put them in or activate later needs to be specced at extra cost,fantastic here as its very bendy roads makes a hell of a difference you see the corner coming in advance, the lights are crap though thats why ive purchased H7 xenon filled bulbs
