Hi!

My car has headlight washers, but they do not work or they are not activated? :wonder:

I can see them behind the panel under the headlights.

How can I get them to work?

Obvious observation that you have already probably thought of?

But they only work when headlights are on.

I tried holding the handle backwards to wash the front screen for some time but nothing happens with the headlight washers.

The headlights was switched on. :wonder:

On some VAG models the headlamp washers only work on the 5th activation of the windscreen washer i.e. on the 5th depression of the wiper arm.

Tried splashing 5 times, still no action. :wonder:

How does it work on other Rommies?

If I remember correctly you need to have the headlights on (not only sidelights or DRLs) and splash 5 times. If it still does not work then you probably need to contact your dealer. Coming to think of it - I don't remember seing my headlight washers work either, and the car has soon done 6 000 km, I will need to test tonight...
