Coilovers on a budget !

Featured Replies

wont fit vrs

  • Author

any particular reason why? as othr companys state there fit all models :S

Do basic models have the same drop links as vrs or do they use the golf short type.

That may be the difference so these might not have drop link brackets cast on them

Dave

Only the vRS has the long droplinks, along with the leon cupra r, golf R32 and Audi TT iirc.

so i take it the drop link mounts are in the wrong place ? therefore not fitting the vrs models ? as other coilover companys weitec vmaxx etc say theres fit all modles? rather confused atm . basically situation im in is the two rear dampers have died aswell as front passenger . so i was looking at the easiest option . as im on a tight budget atm .

thanks for all the comments tho guys

You'll need a kit listed for the VRS, give me a shout if you need any prices.

so does anyone know why the vrs aprently needs a different kit to the rest of the octavia line?

as other manufacters state theres fit all models?

so why wont these prosprt ones?

as said mate, the vRS has a bracket on them for the front drop links to connect to where the std octavias use a drop link direct to the wishbone which is not as good also you cant lower it as far hence they say you need other drop links.
