Well, the day is almost here. April 27th I ordered my vRS estate and there started the exciting wait to get my hands on my 1st ever brand new car.

I was pencilled to get the car bang on September the 1st but that has always looked doubtful what with the long lead times most people have suffered, the car how ever arrived at the dealers on Thursday and what with work and other things I arranged for this coming Wednesday to collect it.

Of course plans change and it turns out I could of picked it up today, so just to torture myself for the next 2 and a bit days I have had a little run to take a look at my new baby.

Here are a few pics of it looking like a wrapped up Christmas present... my god I can not wait to get my hands on it.

Damn!!! Another green estate. I thought I was sooo unique when I ordered, and now yet another person who ordered AFTER me is getting their car BEFORE me!

Enjoy thought mate! My missus banned me from having the red seats. I thought they went well with the green , but she decided not. Fortunately its the only decision she's made on the car.

More or less the same spec as mine too. Nav - check, parking sensors - check, heated seats - check, climate - check.

I've got the dark chrome wheels on mine...

I think I pretty much went down the options list and did 'check' to everything... 1st new car madness you see.

Mine is being delivered on Thursday in that colour combination so I'll post some pictures up when it arrives.

The green looks great by the way but I was not sure what it would look like on the estate so I went for black instead.

Got ours for three years so doubt the current Fabia vRS will still be in production by then but if i had my time again (particularly given the car now comes with the black pack) i'd probably go black with black wheels.
