The outer casing has been lightly machined to remove some of the casting marks/ribs to reduce the outer casing profile of the compressor....if that makes sense!

Came across this the other day: GT2868RS

Fits my requirements spot-on: Sub 3000rpm spool, approx. 375bhp - about the same torque (ft lbs)

Its not going to happen this time though, as my car is being bolted back together at the moment, and I don't won't to delay it anymore.
