Fuel economy

Have a look at your air filter,if it was anything like mine, whoever had changed the air filter last hadn't fitted the cover on properly so was letting in too much air, once refitted properly it totally transformed the car,now averaging 57mpg on a 20 mile commute of dual carriageway/ town driving, and since last fill up using the expansion tank I have done 280 miles and haven't used a quarter of a tank yet.

Good Results- glad youve got the economy on side :)

Just going to add my fuel economy from yesterday. Note: this is what the average mpg reader told me over 87.7 miles at a constant 55-60mph in 6th. I apparently achieved an average of 65.2mpg over that journey. The fuel gauge hasn't moved at all. My first tank would have lasted about 400 miles but I filled up when it had 1/4 tank left (did not use expansion tank). I mainly do short journeys and sit in traffic for a couple of miles occasionally. Still think my fuel economy was better before it was Revo'd. Oh well it's going in on thursday for the map to be looked at and maybe taken off!
