Taximeter needs to be aplied through speed pulse signal

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have 2 Skoda Roomsters: one built in 2010 another - 2011. I want to install taximeters to these cars. But these cars provide speed signal via CAN-BUS and the vast majority of taximeters need "conventional" speed pulse.

It is also very important to know, that 2006 Roomster's CAN-BUS signal is different from 2010 Roomster's CAN-BUS signal.

We have tried to get a "conventional" speed pulse using "CAN-BUS to speed pulse" converters which are compatible with 2006-2008 Roomsters and we could not get any conventional speed pulse signal from them as these converters are not compatible with new Roomster's CAN-BUS.

Maybe somebody have had such problems as we're having and could recommend us a solution?

Your help is much needed.

Thank you in advance.

Talk to skippy41. He has a mk2 octavia so must have had this problem.
