What size wheels will fit my vRS?

Featured Replies

As in the title.

I'm wanting to spray my wheels, and also change the tyres.....

So I'm looking for some temporary wheels and wondering what would fit?

I don't mind if they are steels or alloys, but just wondered what would fit over he disc and calliper.

Would 15" or 16" 5x100 wheels fit on it? I know it'll look crazy for a while, but I figure, worth doing!

Cheers

had a random 16" one on the rear while fixing the original spider and it looked something like this:

so there's some space left on the rear, but i doubt there would be any on the front with 16", so that would be the limit

16s will fit over 312s at the front, 15s won't.

The best thing would be to try before you buy in case your chosen wheel catches the front calipers

Yep , 16's min to clear the front brakes. VRS Estate was 16 inch as standard so won't look crazy on 16's. In fact TT 16's look pretty good IMO :p

Cheers lads!

I have 20mm spacers fitted currently, and plan to fit them to my temporary wheels.

I assume this will help with clearance issues too?

Clearance issues? I didn't have any issues with clearance running standard Elegance 6.5 x 16's. 10mm spacers were fitted at the rear as the 4x4 rear track is narrower with the IRS. I am running VRS spec brakes and coilovers BTW.
