New Monte Carlo Irdered

Featured Replies

Pick it up at weekend. Goodbye Superb. Hello tidy red 1600 diesel Monte. Well pleased.

I am struggling to get a definite answer. Does Monte come with Bluetooth for phones as standard?

That's not true, you have to spec the Bluetooth seperatly, with or without the SatNav

Presumably you "irdered" this months ago? It is an impossibility to get a Skoda that quickly.

It may be a showroom car, mine was and I could have had it in in a few days if I needed it :)

They'd have found some way of making you wait for five months....

We ordered our's last Friday and it had just arrived at the docks that day. Hope to collect it next friday :)

On a separate note, i am concerned that the suspension is too hard and bouncy, is this true? With it running on 17's, this also might make it a harder ride. Any feedback would be appreciated :) (1.2 TSI 86ps)

Thanks Nigel

It's firm, yes, but not excessively so. It'll be a little bouncy when going slow, but when you drive harder it doesn't. That's the opposite of the standard suspension, where it's nice at slow speeds but gets bouncy when you drive hard.

You can't really have a setup that does both well. Fabia sport suspension is softer than most other hot/warm hatches anyway. Which is far better for road driving.

Hi Mike

Thanks for your reply. I am sure i am panicking over nothing!!! B)
