auto/tunnel light

Featured Replies

Hi there

is anybody successful in enabling CH/LH auto light in facelifts without these functions installed when car rolled out of the factory. My car has rain/light sensor installed but no autolight switch. I read in some earlier threads that you need a missing wire, an auto switch and a bit of coding. My car bieng a 2011 octavia facelift, I have installed the wire in PIN 2 in the switch and other end at terminal A Pin 20 in ECM. I have activated CH/LH, ADL, CH via light sensor through VCDS, I am waiting for the auto switch which is costing me around 80£ from skoda dealer. Before spending that much on switch I would like to know that is there anyone who is successful with it.

Ya I have .!!

It's a good mod...

Also buy the switch from skodateile.cz

The price is far less.

I can´t seem to understand why or if your car has rain and light sensor, why in the heck it does not have the autolight switch.

Anyone else has the same issue.

I would ask the dealer about this, why light sensor installed if no auto switch.

I believe recent postings on here suggest that said company should be approached with caution.....

UK spec Elegance models have autosensing wipers and autodimming mirror - hence the sensors, but do not have auto lights as standard. Looks like India is the same.

Yes its the same here in India and Skoda-India is strictly against such modifications, one may loose the warranty as well.

Ok, here in portugal my Elegance comes with rain and light sensor plus autodimming interior and drivers mirror.
