Balero Headunit

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've recently noticed I now have a BT-Audio button greyed out on my head unit, not sure how it got there though. It sits along the top next to the Mdeia, Radio & CD button on the touch screen.

How do i use/activate this & what is it for?

Any help would be appreciated.

Firstly, have you got Bluetooth installed in your car? If not, you cannot use this facility.

Assuming you have, ensure that your phone is paired with the car, and is also paired as a media player. Then, start the music on your phone. On the Media page of Bolero, you should see the BT button now active. Select that - job's a good 'un.

Thanks for this. I haven't got bluetooth but can I get it added from Skoda? If so do you know if this is a clostly route to get bluetooth.

Thanks for your help.

There are a few people that can install the Skoda bluetooth, or you can do it yourself, personally I have the factory bluetooth in my car all linked up with the Bolero and the multi function wheel and its great, love it! If you are prepared to pay a couple of hundred quid for a parrott system or something, then I would say look into paying that bit extra for the fully integrated Skoda system, its well worth it!

There a check box in the Bolero setup for bluetooth audio on mine and I haven't got BT. If you just want rid of the button perhaps that needs unchecking?

We offer the original VW/Skoda Bluetooth setup with BT Audio which integrates with the Bolero/Columbus. Unfortunately there's no way to activate it without the module.
