V6 has landed

Featured Replies

Picked her up at the back end of last week, MY10 with less than 9k on the clock, it transpires this is the actual car featured in Episode 4, Season 17 of fifth gear so a bit of a celeb, lol

Cappucino with black/Ali trim interior, park assist, premium sound, heated rear seats are the fitted extras.

The car didn't have tints so i had them done locally, these are 23% tints which seem to be a good balance.

Initial impressions are great, such a flexible engine, torquey and laid back for gernal pottering around but a real beast when dropped into sport mode and planted. seems very solidly screwed together indeed.

Great colour, she's a beauty mate. Enjoy.

Is that available on Demand5 or Youtube or anything?

They're nice motors, especially for the price! I've still not seen another one around and I've had mine 15 months or so. Mind you, I think I've only seen half a dozen Superbs of any type.

Hi Mate

Looks great  still loving mine, the V6 is a pleasure, sound nice and pulls like a train. Enjoy

Nice looking car and a celebrity too boot

Indeed it is from various sources (google Fifth Gear Season 17, Episode 4), or this link will get you to it also, it's not on the original reg any more so I'm not worried about it being identified. Not the longest feature but it certainly comes out well.

V6 Superb Estate test on 5th gear.

The car is simply impressive and the dealer has been great to, updating the nav for me and also doing a full tracking and 4 wheel alignment.

I had a mark 1 Octy VRS and that left a lasting impression, wifeys new Octy VRS last year just built on that and the Superb has the quality of the Audi A5 i had with added super practicality, the 4 wheel drive capability and a much cheaper monthly cost, not to mention that engine! Even the people who spot it's a V6 think it's a 2.5L or something, those a little in the know think it's the VW 2.8L unit and nearly everyone stands open mouthed when they hear 3.6L, lol, I'm summit surprised Skoda managed to get away with putting it in!

Hell of a car for under 20k!

James.

They had to de-tune it though from the one used in the Passat R36

Looks great and I'm considering one of these next but needs lowering

Should be easy enough to get it retuned then without much risk of over stressing it should anyone ever want to :-)
