That is one nice motor!

Engine sprightly enough?

Looks beautiful- if only the rear lights were tinted a bit to match the front...:)

The engine is very sprightly given it's a 1.2 with only 105 bhp, lots of torque from very low down, not that i can use any of it as the mpg is dire unless I drive it like the slowest of old grannys. It's going into my local dealers on wednesday for them to have a look at and to see

if they can find a reason for it. At a constant 70 mph it will only return around 39/40 and at 80 mph only 35 mpg the same as I got out of my Octavia VRS TFSI and as for around town don't ask. Great car apart from it thinking it's a V8 Range Rover.

Looks very nice.

Black/white is growing on me. So is black pack.

I love the Monte Carlo body trim...the black around the wheel arches and around the whole car.

Do you know if you can buy this trim separately for other Fabia 2s anywhere?

You can can buy anything if you have the money to spend on it but the trim is not going to be cheap as you would require the front and rear bumpers, plus the fixings and the painting of the trim and bumpers, and if you don't have the same front Fog/DRL lights then you would need to buy these as well. I think I would be cheaper in the end to trade in your Fabia against an ex-demo car than it would be to try and copy a the Monte look.

They serve a pretty useful purpose though, not sure removing the bulbs is a wise idea :giggle:

Very nice monte look good in white :p B)

My wife ordered one the same (red) as this yesterday. 1.2 ltr petrol, 5 speed manual they were only released in Australia this week. Three weeks before delivery.

The Australian one looks like it's got 16's as standard instead of 17's. Weird how they vary it country to country!

Ours is in White too. I took it to work yesterday and someone said it looks like a Stormtrooper's helmet! I can live with that :smirk:

Yes, 16' for Australia, I don't know what that's about except our roads aren't up to European standards so it may be a consideration for comfort.

Ha. Clearly not driven on British roads then.

Bumpers? Err, no you dont. I had the Monte splitters (front and rear) on my estate a couple of months before the Monte`s arrived. In effect the Monte has the Skoda "styling pack" (although, strangly NOT the UK one!) front and rear splitters plus side/arch trims (that are unique to it) but yes, it would be expensive. Cost me about £800 but I did have mine custom painted (by the dealership!) rather than a solid colour.

I belive the Monte was also offered in the UK with black 16" Comets as well unless this has been changed on MY2012 examples? I thought the 17s were a No Cost Option?

i'm pretty sure the 16" comets come as standard on the elegance trim.

the 17" are standard on the monte

i have a red monte. only thing i have done is change the standard indicator bulbs for the chrome covered ones, makes it look nice i think, also make the rear lights look more matched to the car. stops the orangeness on the fronts as well :) cant work out how to put pictures up on here at all, and i thought i was technologically minded , HELP!
