Ant, glad you're sorted mate, and good to meet you yesterday.

Wilsy7, take care when making unfounded sweeping statements about justifiably well regarded companies.

You were wrong, and its not on :wonder:

Do one

Do one

A mature, well thought out retort. Well done.

I have no interest in getting into some forum argument here, so I'll keep this last reply brief.

Reputations of sponsors (and most companies, no doubt) are built over time with plenty of hard work, they don't deserve to be

questionned or accused of things by people who haven't bothered to ask the right questions first.

Think on. Thats me done.

Hello everyone I don't want to start a war on this just put it up and to see where was the best place was to get a new maf sensor from.

Good news, I got a Bosch one today from tps for £79 which ain't bad and the mpg as gone up whoop whoop took it alittle run (30 miles) ish and went back to see Ben at shark aswell. He said that give a week or so, and it will be even better.

Cheers Ant

You bought a MAF mate?

My man with the trade discount reckons it's 20% off retail for the maf, as it's a consumable.

Wilsy7, im still interested in what turbo you run and what rollers your 190bhp came from, just out of curiosity of course :)

Have a read of this thread lol, you might be able to work it out, although i`m not sure he is sure TBH,

My favourite quote is that all the engines map to the same, 130, 140, 150. Doesnt matter that some have different turbos, coolers etc

Lol, Matt you have literally just made my day with that thread link. Such a good laugh :)

I wish id have done the same as your idea and just bought a PD100 and saved money on the car and insurance and just bought myself a remap and nearly double the stock power...hindsight eh lol :p

Sorry :(

Wow, that has genuinely made my day, albeit a **** day but still....

Out of intrest, Wilsy7 are you actually running hybrid or just slightly embarrassed and going to pretend your running hybrid??

Stock turbo :S everyone started shouting so I run and threw a spanner into the mix lol

It is a garrett if that counts for much lol

What was their excuse for it not making the power, their map their rollers. Now everyone with a shark map should be skeptical about it being the power it should be. I think this all is part of this game sayin that the stock injectors can't make 200+ so the run the dyno conservative

It was actually on Shark's rollers, so if what you're saying bears any credance whatsoever, he's hardly likely to want to under read his own maps now is he?

Exactly your right I was wrong

Lol, i run a pd150 turbo and only really expect around 190hp as iv not been on the dyno yet. might have to try your dyno guys :giggle:

I would say that's about right. My PD150 Leon Cupra was dynoed twice with a stage 1 map. 196/330 at P-Torque who did the map, and about 6 months later 186/323 on a local Dyno Dynamics. Although the Leon comes with an adequate FMIC as standard so you might get a bit less on a dyno due to heatsoak. On the road I can see you hitting 190 fairly easily though.

You're right.........I saw Ben load up a minus 25bhp correction factor prior to Ant's run................

There is no conspiracy! Ant's MAF is le FUBAR'd, and messed his dyno run up. I'm willign to bet my last quid that another run now will make around 165-170bhp, the standard figure for a remapped Fabia on stnadard hardware.

That's it. Thead closed, glad to see Ant's is working well again :-)

 Yep completely agree. Well as the saying goes "its not the figures its how it drives" and thats why im not really bothered about dynoing it. In this case though there is willy waving, and lying lol
