I have a 1.9tdi pd100. The chance of getting a cheapish pd160 has come up and need to know the following ASAP

I may consider a remap within the next few months and wondered if getting a pd160 would make any difference or if I actually need it or not... Reasons for and against please... Or will the standard air intake be sufficient and do the same job for £0!

in all honesty, Nope

No difference what so ever, iv sun a pd130 as standard, with a remap and then a 150 with the corresponding map, and i still run the standard intake with no smoke issues what so ever. If its cheap enough you may as well buy it and sell it on here but as for hp gains, you wont get any

Buy it and flog it on here, make some coin!

Is the intake on my 1.9tdi pd 100 sufficient and cope with this possible remap. Also is it the same intake as the pd130 engine, am I right in thinking it isn't the same.
