has anyone remapped their VRS 170 TDI with a bluefin device? ive ordered one and before i do it was just wondering what the results were. Ive got the DSG version, some ive read say its worth it other's with the DSG say it isnt worth the money ?

I didn't realise the Bluefin was compatible with the new CR170's. I though they were all locked and could only be bench flashed.

I have a shark remapped CR140 DSG and it is very impressive. Well worth it.

I got mine in march/april this year and bluefin was not an option the superchips web site when you put in make model variant and year says it does but I called them to confirm as no one else was able to do it threw OBDII and they said they can't either and doubted they ever would be able too. I had mine taken out bench mapped then refitted with new vag security screws far better now.

wasn't it only around Oct 2010 people started getting these encrypted sockets in CR's? If car was from before then might be a lucky chap unlike some of us :thumbup: Anthony if your car brand new call super chips and ask them directly if you haven't already done so about your car
