Thank you Skoda Approved

Featured Replies

I would just like to post some good news..

I put the Sport in for a service last week and asked if they could just check out a slight rattle on start up when cold, and also a slight hesitancy/hicup under light throttle, but not all the time.

The Sport is covered under the Approved Warranty, so not as good as the New Car Warranty, for investigations.

When i went to pick up after the service, i was told that the rattle and slight hesitancy/hicup was possible down to the Duel Mass Flywheel, so nothing had been done about it.

When speaking to the service desk about this, they said they were 99% sure this was the cause, but because it was only slight they weren't shaw if the warranty would cover it, because it might still be within tolerance, and they didn't want to strip it down and Approved warranty to say "no it's within tolerance" which would have left me with a big labour bill.

So it was arranged for the Approved Assessor to come and listen to the car on start up.

So today i went up to the garage first thing and was prepared to sit and wait a couple of hours, so the Sport would be cold for it's inspection, which was going to be around lunch time,

So i was all prepared for a few hours sitting talking cars, whilst waiting, but was given the keys to an Oct'y est to have for a few hours.

Got the call at lunchtime........

Warranty work has been Approved, £1200 all in.

Car now booked in.

So a Big Thank you to Sherlodge and Skoda Approved Warranty.

Nice going :).
