VRS Side Lights

As owners of vrs's will know the blue bulbs in the main headlight unit act as side lights for all non vrs's and are redundant in the vrs because the DRLs take over the function of side lights.

I have asked a few Skoda dealers if it is possible to make these blue bulbs light up but I am told that it is impossible it just can't be done.

Not being one to accept no for an answer I set about making my blue bulbs light up.

After a lot of wiring an two relays mine now light up.

When the DRLs come on (turning on the ignition) my blues light up.

When the side light switch is activated DRLs dim and blues light up.

I have replaced the blue bulbs with high powered leds.

In addition I have arranged for my rear side lights to light up when the DRls come on.

The original bulbs have also been replaced with high powered red leds, canbus issues having been overcome.
