So has anyone got it and is it any good? :D

Chris

Mine arrived in the post this morning but I'll have to wait until 5pm when I get home to see how good it is

Went and bought it during my lunchbreak there, have to wait until six to get a go at it tho...

yep its pretty damn good.... BUT wouldnt recommend for fabia drivers its probably a bit complicated for them.... it involves stuff like suspension tuning and doesnt seem to have anywhere to buy lexus lights or seat covers....

Is there any mention of fuel economy? That's very important to us Fabia drivers ;)

Chris

Can't wait to get home, keep looking at the GT4 website (american one is more interesting i find).

 10,000 credits :D

I love the start of the game where you have to tune up your second hand beast.

Has anyone else noticed the nose dive under braking! Better put suspension mods at top of spending list ;)

Couldnt find any Skodas on there, must have been a rumor only :thumbdwn:

Does Jason even have a ps2?

Ive passed my B and A licences now, completed the sunday cup and the FF cup with my mildly tweeked (well phase 1 turbo, exhaust, suspension) second hand Honda Civic and now trying to save up some money to get a rwd to compete in the next cup. Damn its hard when you go a bit silly and mod your first car a bit to much..lol

Game is excellent though, graphics amazing. Quite like the 'coffee break' tests when taking the licence tests, amuzing.

if you have completed prologue you get given extra credits and a+ b lic...

Best take mine back then :D

Got mine at lunch thanks to Pinklady

Cool

if you have completed prologue you get given extra credits and a+ b lic...

and with the GT3 licenses you will get up to 100,000 credits

How do you mean Jeff?

if you transfer the GT3 licenses into gt4 as well they give you up to 100,000 credits. You can do it with both GT3 and Prologue so you could end up with 110,000 credits

My little Stepbrother has a PSII ...

As I saw a few screenshots fron GT4 and realized, "the ring" is included,

I decided to buy it :D

I am sure "we" will have lots of fun with it :P

Im finding it quite tough pretty soon in the game, lack of funds sems to prevent me actually buying anything decent that will keep up with the pack.

Just bought it today for a friend, not for me as I am an Xbox/Gamecube owner. I am going to pop it round his house in a minute and have a quick game, never played any GT game , but love Project Gotham on the Xbox so it will have a lot to live up to.

BTW if you want this game on the cheap Game are doing it for 99p when you trade in 4 other games either PS2, XBox or Gamecube, you can even take a mixture, the games do not need to be the same format. The only stipulation is that they can't be football or wrestling games. For anybody that Has a Forbidden World or Gamestation near them they sell secondhand games for as little as

Played mine tonight - great. Better than 3 by a mile :D

Imported 100,000 cash from me GT3 save - helped a lot :D

WOW - what a fantastic game.

I wasnt expecting to get to the ring without unlocking something - but to my amazement you can just go and drive it

They seam to have done a lot of work on the suspension physics - dive/squat etc first impressions after only being able to play for an hour tonight - Fan bloody tastic

Get in i've driven 4 laps of the ring. 2 laps in a DB9 (8.13sec), 1 in a 172 and 1 in a Ibiza Cupra 1.8T both just over 9mins.

First impression is

Trip to Blockbuster is in order then methinks.......

now where did I put those blank dvd's :rubchin: :shhh:

Won't work. GT4 uses a new style of protection that means it wont work on DVD+R DL.

Just buy it.

Spent quite a while playing it last night, it gets better the more you discover. Completed the sunday cup and FR challenge with my first car (1989 rear wheel drive skyline) and the FF cup with a 1.5 Honda Crx.

The skyline is very good but the Honda is almost as fast and feels more fun to drive  It really is a pocket rocket, i would recommend it to anyone as their first car. It revs like a banchee to 8000rpm and powerslides briliantly! Makes me think they have spent ALOT of time on the way front wheel drive cars handle compared to GT3. Lift off oversteer is a bit scary at 100mph!

They seem to have thought of everything really...little touches like being able to change units to mph now and saving your pictures to a usb data stick. I hate work :(

Oooo I diddnt know you could save to a USB stick!

I thought the lift off oversteer was a little extreme on the Citroen C3 used at Laguna Secca in the licence test.

Spotted an error too - In the briefing for the "knock the cones over" test it says you'll use an Opel Tigra Turbo - turns out its a Peugeot 206 cc
