SAAB enthusiastic's first Skoda

Featured Replies

Hi there!

I was a FORD enthusiastic since I got my driver's licence -> 1996. After that I realized the name really comes from (F)ix (O)R ®epair (D)aily so from 1996 on I've been a total SAAB Enthusiastic. I still have my own SAAB and I used to have a SAAB as a company car but I changed the employer and unfortunately they don't have SAABs within their model range. So then I had to choose another car brand.

After thinking it a while I came to a conclusion I'd like to have a Skoda SuperB Combi. After waiting 4 months and 3 weeks I got it on last Friday (the delivery time was so darn long :-( ). I've always loved SAAB from the day I drove one of them so for me it was quite hard to have another car brand. So far it's been really positive and I already ordered Elsawin etc. because I want to know everything about the car I'm driving. That Elsawin looks like SAAB's WIS (Workshop Information System) and it was accompanied with the Skoda spareparts catalogue similar to SAAB's EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue). So I'm trying to learn as much as I can from the car I'm currently driving and trying to cope with it because it's not a SAAB ;-)

So there was my story. You can count on it that I'll be asking some stupid questions about my brand new car because I'm a Skoda "rookie" :-)

Hi and welcome aboard.
