car covers for yeti?

Featured Replies

With winter approaching, and my garage already full, anyone got reccomendation for decent car cover?

I'm not that keen on car covers, I know you do get some good ones that maintain they don't damage the paint. I used a cover albeit for my boat over a winter period and it did a fair amount of damage to the Gel coat, although easily repairable I won't do it again, instead it can just sit with its mooring cover. I realise that you may only just use a car cover over night but the wind can fairly move them about/against the paint how about just covering the windscreen? :wonder:

tbh that would be the reason for a cover anyway...maybe just cut some rubber matting to size!

Or by a car with a heated windscreen.

For an inexpensive windscreen cover try a roll-up type beach mat.

They work a treat in the summer to keep out excessive heat from the sun and prevent snow and ice building up in winter. Trap each end by utilising the front doors and the job is done - Plenty on offer in £ shops!............Tony

How much ARE these please?

I don't know about a beach mat but if you go on ebay there are loads of windscreen covers for around £5. They are silver nylon and they work in the same way, being trapped in the door frame. I had one last year and it worked pretty well.

Something like this?... :)

This would be good for rough areas!
