What you think, cheers

Nice, looks exactly the same as the one i purchased a week ago

Looks just like the one I bought 7 years ago :D

Nice to see another '53 plate.

looks good how many miles has it done?

That looks very tidy for the money emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Nice! Weird seeing one that's been untouched.

That won't last long being on here. :giggle:

Looks considerably more shiny than my 2005, just lazy coupled with bad weather, don't help situation much. LOLemoticon-0100-smile.gif

Bargain! i'm guessing either an old man had it and didn't realise what it was worth or its done star ship miles, either way it looks mint!

That looks a Billy bargain, looks very nice. Good job.

Wow that looks really nice,

I see it has a Whitehill Skoda sticker in the window and on the No. plates, are the original, or it that where you got it from?

As they are now a Skoda specialist.

Thanks guys, it's done 116.000 but with full skoda service history :). It's really funny as every time it's had a service it's had the break fluid changed and breaks lol. Yes I i got it from white hill skoda place lol, I travelled due to the cheap price :). They were selling cheap as it was part ex they needed to shift, so the garage must have payed 2k for it :)

The reason it's really shiny is because when I clean my cars I go all out, I own a expensive mopping machine so I

Washed it

Clayed it

Washed again

Very fine cutting compound

Wash again

Polish

Wash again

Wax x 4

After all that in wished I had done a swirl remover, next time though i supose

Flayed it

I hope you Clayed it, not Flayed it ;)

Been thinking this, but smart mods for me buddy. Had enough with big mods from my punt turbo, just strut brace, tinted windows etc.

Maybe, and I mean maybe! I have been thinking about maybe going for a fast performance but with the sleeper look, so it looks standard but goes like stink :)

BANG TIDY!!!

Silly cheap! Nice looking motor an fab price.

Must be one of the earliest also, never seen a pre 04 plate!

Cheers guys, appreciate it :)

My next add on to the old girl is the cruise control stalk, just need to track down a specialist to fit it and code it in. I've seen the stalk on eBay for 65 for all the bits, does anybody have any info on this??

PM Techie.

He is an expert in such things. ;)

Have you noticed you've got the rare long vRS badge - presumed to be an Octavia one prior to Skoda sorting out the right length for a Fabia.

Exclusive 53 plate club. Lol, you'll have the longer box too id have thought

And rear door lock pins. B)

And the ability to remove your door carriers with a spanner instead of drilling out rivets :)

No - the rear door lock pin deletion was part of the September 2004 facelift long after the gearbox and badge changes. I don't have a date for the door carrier fixation change but understood that to be later too

+1 I got this and new fabia ll logo fits over it perfect.
