Hi guys, iv currently got a decat and a standard exhaust which is annoying me alot lol, wanting to get a cat back miltek to fit alongside my decat but im wondering how it will sound. I dont want lots of noise so im wondering if anyone has a sound clip or could take one if they have a similar set up?

I can try and film mine, but I've got the bigger Milltek decat downpipe (not sure of the size differences but 2.5" vs 2.25" rings a bell?) so it might sound different to what you'd get putting a Milltek on your standard bore decat with a reducer?

I had the Milltek plus sports cat fitted on my Fabia VRS. It sounded awesome, very deep and very similar note to a subaru impreza in deepness.

Is there any issue with adding a decat to a vRS thats only been remapped? IE back pressure issues or turbo issues?

Yep. Covered several times on here, quite recently. Have a wee search and everything's out there.

If you just want noise, remove your back box with a straight through pipe.

I don't know what the milltek is like compared to a standard exhaust in terms of noise but my milltek isn't loud, there is a deep rumble around 2k but that's pretty much it !

Thanks for the comments guys, In reference to the mufflerectomy, iv tried it and it sounds s***. far to loud for a diesel IMO and not as quick i didnt think. As for the mapping, that wont be a problem. Its already mapped for various other parts such as the decat so thats not a problem. Just dont want to much noise just want it to look nice and cant really be bothered with putting a tip on the standard exhaust. Not to keen on the stupid owl flutter sound on that video, sounds ridiculous lol

id like to sample that first hand i imagine it does sound amazing. Iv been thinking about holding off going down the hybrid route due to the standard clutch but the more rossy talks about running his hybrid makes me feel i should just go for it lol
