I see Andy has gone for the Goodyears

The Kumhos seem good value at £76 a corner, and I've seen a set of 4 Hankook W310s for £290 + delivery

I am tempted to buy some winter tyres for my Furby (especially now I'm working). 205/45 16 is the same as the Mk1 Fabia.

According to tyre tests, the best winter tyres at the moment are Goodyear Ultragrip 8s, but unfortunately you can't buy them in our size. I'm not sure to spend good money on the Goodyear Ultragrip GW3, or go for something cheaper, like Kumhos or Toyos.

go for the best you can afford. The quality of the tyre can mean the difference between a near miss and a boo boo - or worse.

I have Khumo KW 27's on the Octy...Superb tyre

and

Roadstone Winters on the Fabia...Also excellent

Both show little wear from November to March last year and were great in the snow and on ice!!
