Bluetooth coding for Fabia

Featured Replies

Hello.

I've just retrofitted a Bluetooth premium 3C8 035 730 B module to my 2011 MY Fabia vRS. Everything went relatively smooth, except for VCDS coding.

1. I've activated Phone sub-menu on the Maxidot display by coding module 19. Now once I enter it I can’t go back to main list again and select MFA data, Media or vehicle settings. To see speed and consumption I have to either disable Phone in module 19 or disable multi-function steering wheel in module 09.

As you may know, Fabia has a MFSW with buttons only on the left side, Maxidot control buttons are located on the right switch. As a result it has only three Maxidot control buttons: “Upâ€, “Down†and “OKâ€. There is no “Back†button, this function is operated by pressing and holding the “Down†button. So once I enter the phone menu I can’t go back: holding “Down†simply does not work in that particular meny as “Backâ€.

Is there a way to both make Phone menu work properly and leave MFSW functional? As I assume it needs some module 77 coding.

To make things worse: this module asks for Long Coding and there is very little information on it both in VCDS and on the internet.

2. If such coding is possible, how can I make pushing the dial button briefly to answer phone call and holding it to activate voice control? At the moment it goes into voice control after a brief pressing and switches media unit off after holding it.

P. S. The pictures above are screenshots in Russian locale, but codes and module numbers are intact. Sorry, I could not buy here a proper VCDS in English.

Do you really expect us to help you with a pirated VCDS version?! Not gonna happen!

As for not being able to get a legit system...

Thank you for prompt reply.

I didn't say that I use pirated software, only that it's a russian one with license, activation and so on (http://car2diag.ru/vasyadiagnost/tsennost-litsenzionnogo-po). I can assume that their development is hugely based on VCDS, but that's not my problem but the one of car2diag and ross-tech.

Nevertheless the bluetooth module adaptation issue persists, whether it was coded via VCDS or something else :-)

Thank you for prompt reply.

No, it's not their development. It's a blatantly stolen version of our product, simply translated into Russian without our authorization, and with our copyright notice hacked out. It is your problem as well because you will not get any help from us, and I really doubt you will get help from anyone who has a legitimate version of our product.

Well, that's an eye-opener. Thought they sorted this out somehow with you. It's upsetting to be involved into theft :-(

Looks like I have to purchase a proper VCDS to salve my conscience.
