Dropping front 55mm?

Featured Replies

Has any1 gone this low on the front of a mk1 vrs?

I've ordered 55mm springs to replace my 35s that sat too high but I'm a little concerned that drive shafts etc won't take that sort of drop well.... Any advice/experience would be appreciated.

Tris

im a lot lower than 55mm with no problems :giggle:

Hey what spec/size wheels tyres you running? I take it your on Coilovers? No bump stop issues? Couldn't do me a big favour could you, when you get a chance measure your front arch to centre of wheel for me.

Thanks

Tris

18" porker rims with 215/40/18 tyres. Yeah coilover. no bump stop issues. scrubs the inner arches a bit now and again but i figured id let it wear them down where it wants rather than chopping them! measurement...ill do later
