Which Wheels Best Suit The MK1 Octavia? Advice Needed...

Featured Replies

I'm looking to put some slightly bigger and nicer alloys on my 04 MK1 Octy diesel. I've got 16's on at the minute, but looking at 17's or maybe 18's so the wheels sit in the arches better, then after that, consider lowering slightly.

I really like the vRS wheels, (are the Fabia vRS wheels only in 16s?) And i've seen this Octy on the net that looks the pure sex, what wheels are they and are they direct fit? I don't fancy messing too much with spacers etc etc, just bolt on ones.

If anyone has any pics of their/other Octy's with non-standard wheels would they please post for me to ponder over?

Thanks

Thanks!

Depending on the colour of your car, the slightly tinted L&K alloys look good (still only 16s though), but keeps it more standard, but I guess you are not worry by that, and will tell the insurance company :-)

I would lower it first, then change the alloys. Big alloys on a car that's sitting too high do not look right IMO (unless it's a Range Rover). The wheels on your link look like 18inch BBS CH reps and from the look of it, he is running coilovers, wound right down. So budget on spending about around £1500.

they're lm reps not ch's. bout £400 for a set. cheapo set of coilies and you're onto a winner
